Our program places a strong emphasis on providing long-term, progress-based recovery support for women over the age of 18. GraceWay Recovery is one of only a few programs in the nation to offer a long-term program that focuses on a design for living by implementing 12-step immersion, job training, and life skills development all while being immersed in a structured daily schedule of groups and meetings.
Our approach, philosophy, and mission, grounded in the belief that permanent sobriety is attainable for anyone, provides hope and motivation for our residents in their recovery journey. By leveraging the unavoidable truths that surround addiction, and implementing principles like honesty and accountability, our program helps residents understand and accept the reality of their disease and work towards recovery.
The use of the twelve steps and inviting residents to have a new experience with them is an important aspect of our program, and it has been proven to be an effective approach to addiction recovery that help residents develop a deeper understanding of the root causes of their addiction and the steps necessary to overcome it. In order for a long-term change to happen, an approach like this in which residents learn how to live by the principles of the 12-Steps, is vital.
